The delegation includes Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain and Chief Secretary Anu Garg. During the visit, Majhi is scheduled to participate in roundtable discussions with groups including International Holding Company and hold meetings with the UAE Minister of Investment and sovereign funds.
The outreach will also feature sector-specific discussions on petrochemicals before the delegation moves to Dubai. The programme is focused on developing investment partnerships and strengthening opportunities for industrial growth and employment in Odisha.
The state is building on 514 projects worth ₹9.57 lakh crore as it seeks to deepen investor engagement. The UAE outreach is aimed at forging partnerships that can support Odisha’s industrial expansion and job creation.
The state is positioning itself as a leading investment destination by highlighting its ports, power availability and skilled workforce. The Abu Dhabi engagement marks a focused effort to connect these strengths with potential investors across key sectors.
With the investment outreach continuing through September 11 and subsequently moving to Dubai, Odisha is seeking to translate its growing project pipeline into stronger partnerships and further industrial opportunities.
